Senior district leaders including First Lady of the District PMJF Lion Papinder Kaur Pusri, District Treasurer PMJF Lion Dilshirin Kaur Pusri, Cabinet Secretaries Lion Dr. Arvind Neral, Lion Mohan Chhabra and Lion Ishwar Agarwal, Protocol Officer Lion Dr. Niranjan Haritwal, RC Coordinator Lion D. R. Wadhwani, ZC Coordinator Lion Prem Sharma, Zone ChairpersonsPMJF Lion Meenakshi Kaushal, Lion Dr. Sangeeta Neral and Lion Diwaker Awasthi, along with presidents and office bearers of various Lions Clubs, distinguished professionals, media and guests added to the grandeur of the occasion.
District Governor PMJF Lion Ripudaman Singh Pusri formally installed the office bearers of Lions Club Raipur Prerna for 2026–27including MJF Lion Dr. Sanyukta Gandhi as President, Lion Navneet Kaur Grewal as Secretary, Lion Satyendra Singh as Joint Secretary, Lion Dr. Smita Premanand as Treasurer, and Lion Manoj Shukla as Joint Treasurer.

In her address, MJF Lion Dr. Sanyukta Gandhi expressed gratitude to members, acknowledged outgoing President MJF Lion Sujata Agarwal, and pledged impactful projects in healthcare, education, environment, women and youth empowerment, hunger relief and community welfare. She emphasized partnerships and youth leadership as key priorities for the year.
The highlight of the evening was the launch of Leo Club Raipur Prerna, the district’s first Leo Club comprising exclusively international members. Twenty Leos were inducted, led by Leo President Saybah H. Mulbah, with Leo Oprah L. N. Roberts as Vice President, Leo Morris H. Kollie as Secretary, and Leo Wedlucklyn Harmon as Treasurer. In her remarks, Leo President Mulbah thanked Lions Club Raipur Prerna for creating a platform to foster cross‑cultural friendship and humanitarian service, pledging to work hand in hand with Lions in meaningful projects.
A major announcement was the club’s collaboration with Sewa Niketan to jointly undertake initiatives in education, healthcare, child welfare, youth development and community upliftment. The club also welcomed five new members—Father George Mary Claret (Director of Sewa Niketan), Mr. Aaron Dogba‑Yassah, Mrs. Faith Ruth Dixon, Dr. Lincy Roy and Dr. Khusboo Sahu—along with transfer of Dr. Anil Kumar Khare and Dr. Archana Khare from Lions Club Raipur Friends. President MJF Lion Dr. Sanyukta Gandhi warmly welcomed them, expressing confidence in their contributions to service.
The felicitation ceremony honoured 15 distinguished Doctors and 5 Chartered Accountants for their professional excellence and societal impact. The celebration also featured Charter Day cake‑cutting, cultural performances by the Khalsa Group, fellowship and dinner, creating an atmosphere of goodwill and camaraderie.
